About Paul D.

Paul D. is an award-winning writer, director, and producer, well-known for creating films and television projects with one-of-a-kind storylines. Some of his successful TV and film efforts include The Marriage Chronicles, Who Can I Run To, The Last Letter, The Sin Seer, My Favorite Five, and Grandma’s House. In addition, he is the Executive Director and chairman of Dream Watchers, Inc., a non-profit organization dedicated to helping inner-city youth who are gifted in the arts.

Paul grew up in the impoverished inner city of Los Angeles. Raised in church by a single mother, it was clear to most, that he was gifted and had a distinct purpose and calling. Paul went from moments of homelessness as a teenager to upper executive positions in “Fortune 500 corporations”. He credits the “grace of God” for his perseverance and success.

Paul has created over a dozen original theatrical productions, which have seen premieres across the USA, he has written and ghostwritten over 50 feature film scripts, and he has produced more than two dozen feature and short films. He is also a passionate songwriter who has written for an array of successful gospel, pop, and R&B artists. Additionally, he routinely creates original music for each of his films.

Since the age of twelve, Paul has been writing and speaking at the national level. As a lifelong advocate of positive change, he is deeply involved in philanthropy and youth development in the arts. Ultimately, he strives to empower less fortunate children by helping them to find their God-given creative gifts. 

 Above all, Paul D. Hannah is a man of faith, an artist, an entrepreneur, and a dedicated family man who has committed his life to leaving an inspiring legacy for future generations.
